Paul's Birthday Song (the end of it, anyway)

Paul's Birthday Mango Cake
Lutheran Church in Chinese

The Dim Sum lunch with the church people

Hello everyone, this is Peyton despite being on Suzy's account. Today after finally having a good night's rest, we were able to go to a church service spoken entirely in Cantonese. Being able to hear the word of God in a different language and style was, to say the least, incredible. Three translators helped us through the sermon and prayers. To know that the Holy Spirit travels across the globe in such amazing ways is fascinating. When the service concluded we soon made our way to Dim Sum lunch with a few of the church community. Fourteen of us total, we tried to converse as much as we could, from discussing the latest Transformers movie(which is set in Hong Kong) to learning more about how the church and school combine, it was very comfortable. To describe all of the food I would be writing a novel, so just a couple of our favorites were; a chicken dumpling-potsticker, fried beef noodles, and delicious mango sponge cake. In Between Suzy and I sat Carmen who started a English/Bible School on Sunday mornings. Ha Ha Yu (Funny Fish) was founded two years ago and gives the 'kids' an hour for English practice and an hour for Bible Study. We hope there is a way we can help them in the future. For dinner(after a three hour nap) we ventured out on to the streets of Hong Kong on our own for the first time. A little walk and a very short bus ride took us to APM Mall where we ate refreshing semi-American cuisine. Off to bed, looking forward to VBS tomorrow!
